About Us

Riverside Women was birthed in 2016 from the inspiration found in the Bible of the women who met by the riverside together to pray in the following scripture:

“And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there.” Acts 16:13

Our focus is on developing the character of Jesus Christ in our daily lives and living a more peaceful and loving life.

Riverside Women is an independent, voluntary media and community project that exists to create a space that connects and encourages Christian women.

We do this by producing creative content with a Christian focus such as videos, music and sharing stories through interviews with the aim of strengthening faith.

We also facilitate community meetups designed to encourage, equip, foster creativity, build friendships and inspire believers in their everyday walk with God.

Any Christian (or woman interested in becoming a Christian) from any church is invited to enquire about attending one of our meetups.

Riverside Women is not a registered charity or a church organisation, but simply an independent media and community project that has a Christian focus and that is organised on a voluntary basis.
